Some folks chase charts. I chase connection.
I’ve always believed music should mean something. For me, it’s never been about the flash.
It’s about the feeling. My songs are rooted in rock, shaped by folk, and carried by a voice that’s
learned to tell the truth, even when it shakes.
I write for people who want more than background noise. People who want to feel understood,
even if it’s just for the length of a song.
“I’m not trying to be the loudest guy in the room,” I like to say. “I’m just hoping to be the one who
makes you stop and think, ‘Yeah… that one hit home.’”
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of sharing stages with artists I’ve long admired such as
Alan Parsons, Kenny Loggins, and Michael McDonald among them. But what matters most to
me isn’t the name on the bill. It’s the people in the room, the stories we share, and the way
a good song can bring us all a little closer.

Take a listen. Hear the story unfold.
My latest release, Fly Away (2023), is a deeply personal EP about healing, hope, and holding on. It’s a collection of songs written in the in-between moments. When life asks us to let go of what was and make room for what’s next.
“There are people who sing higher than Michael, and there are people who sing better than Michael. But I don't know anybody who sings both higher and better than Michael.”
— Monty M.
“Always interested to hear what Michael is going to do next.”

“I’m a huge fan of Michael. His song, "Take Care of Each Other” is a major part of a new musical show I'm premiering this Summer." Michael plays such enjoyable songs and the musicians that he plays with are always top-notch. We love his voice and Michael’s repertoire makes me need to move and dance. It is never disappointing and he seems to love giving a great performance every time we see him. We look forward to seeing his performances. ”

“I first heard Michael at a music event he was producing. He only sang one song, but it got me interested. After getting his “Fly Away” EP and seeing one of his solo shows I became a fan. Really nice writing, arranging, production and his voice is always in fine form. Well worth checking him out.”
