Some musical projects start as a gig. This one started with a shared love for the kind of songs that still make people stop and listen. Keyboardist George Friedenthal and vocalist Michael Henszey connected several years ago and quickly forged an unbreakable musical bond.

THE GAM BAND blends heartfelt originals with the kind of deep-cut classics that don’t usually hear — but always earn the loudest applause. Together, they reimagine timeless songs by artists like Supertramp, Jackson Browne, Steely Dan, Bruce Hornsby, and Elton John with warmth, soul, and authenticity.

Backing George and Michael is a powerhouse lineup featuring Maitland Ward (Jeffrey Osborne) on guitar, Mychal Lomas on bass, and Alvino Bennett (Dave Mason) on drums. THE GAM BAND delivers more than a setlist — they create an experience that feels honest, unhurried, and deeply connected.

Between them, they have recently shared stages with legends including Kenny Loggins, Alan Parsons, Michael McDonald, Skunk Baxter, and Talking Heads’ Jerry Harrison. But what matters most isn’t who they’ve played with — it’s the people they play for now.
